Superior Freight Elevators: Efficient, Reliable, and Robust Solutions for Heavy Lifting

Freight elevators are designed for transporting very heavy cargo and materials such as cars or goods up and down in a building. Compared to passenger elevators, freight lift travel at slower speeds, can carry much heavier loads and is designed to withstand tougher working conditions. It’s more important for freight elevators to be practical rather than attractive. This can include steel wall panels, a heavy steel floor and a reinforced gate. A freight elevator will usually include vertically opening doors. Older models might even have manually operated wooden gates.

    Efficient Movement and Transportation

The service elevators are designed to facilitate the movement of personnel and the transportation of goods without disturbing guests or visitors in the building. In the plant in particular, the transport of major materials and equipment without interruption is an absolute necessity.

    Compliance and Support

Regardless of the type of elevator you require, it’s important to ensure you are adhering to building codes and standards. We are pleased to assist you in exploring your elevator options and ensuring that you comply with the code. Contact us today to get started!

    Specifications

    •  The operating system is designed with microprocessor programming, enhancing safety and reliability, and providing flexible responses to various usage conditions in factories. It is convenient for transporting goods and materials to support production lines.
    • The door drive control system uses voltage-frequency variable (VVVF) technology for medium and small-sized doors, and DC drives for large-sized doors, increasing the system's power and durability.

    • Motor control: uses stepless speed control through a variable voltage and frequency (VVVF) system, saving energy and ensuring precise floor stops, facilitating easy transport in combination with forklifts.

    ELEVATOR SHAFT PREPARATION

    Machine Room

    • Construct the machine room according to the drawings provided by Minh Long, ensuring waterproofing of the walls and roof, and installing a lock for the entrance door.

    • Create technical openings for pulling equipment and running cables and wires between the machine room and the shaft, and provide load-bearing hooks.

    • Arrange pathways and ladders to the machine room, ensuring ladders have handrails and a minimum width of 700 mm.

    • Ventilation System: Install ventilation grilles and fans to maintain a temperature below 40°C in the machine room. Ensure the average monthly relative humidity is below 90% and does not exceed 95% in a single day.

    • Lighting System: Install windows for natural light, lighting fixtures, and switch panels.

    • Supply power to the machine room: One power distribution board, including three phase wires (380V - 50Hz), one neutral wire, and one grounding wire. The allowable voltage fluctuation is ±5%.

    Elevator Shaft & Landing Doors
    • Construct and finish (lighting, ventilation, and waterproofing) the elevator shaft according to the dimensions provided by Minh Long, with a vertical tolerance of +25mm.

    • Install a metal ladder to the shaft pit.

    • Leave rough openings for landing doors, call boxes, and finish around the landing doors after installation.

    • Install beams and grid frames between shafts (for group-operated elevators).

    • Do not install water pipes, electrical conduits, or cables inside the elevator shaft.

    • Install intermediate beams on floors with a height over 2600mm.

    Additional Notes:

    • Provide free power supply for construction and operation.

    • Provide free space for storing equipment and materials during the construction period.
